Mill down means trucks waiting in the yard, cars stuck in the queue, and orders piling up behind a cracked conveyor frame or a sheared saw mount. The shop welder is two hours away if he’s not booked. Hauling mill equipment off-site usually isn’t an option.

We come to the mill.

## What We Fix

Mill repair welding covers the structural and equipment failures that put production on hold:

– Conveyor frame cracks and chain rail repairs
– Saw frame fractures and arbor mount welds
– Mill structural beam and gusset repairs
– Trim line, sorter, and chain return welds
– Log deck and infeed hardware damage
– Edger frame and outfeed table cracks
– Stacker arm and unscrambler welds
– Hopper, chute, and bin structural fixes

Most mill calls are either reactive (something just broke) or planned (the maintenance shutdown is two weeks out and the inspection found four welds that need rework). We handle both.

## Why We Come To You

The whole point of mobile is that we work where the equipment lives. Mill structural work, in particular, almost always has to happen on-site. You can’t ship a saw frame to a shop without disassembling half the line. We bring the truck to the mill, set up where it makes sense, and weld.

Our truck carries stick for fast structural fixes on dirty, oily mill steel and MIG and TIG for cleaner detail work. Lance is WABO certified, which matters for load-bearing structural repairs that have to pass inspection.

Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of arrival, based on project complexity. Repairs start at $200.

## Built For This Work

We’ve been welding for Washington since 2009. Our crew brings 57 years of combined team experience to mill work, with serious time on conveyors, saw frames, sorters, and edgers, and the kind of structural metal that gets beaten on every shift. We’re licensed, insured, and bonded in Washington.

## Where We Work

We serve Thurston County and surrounding areas, with most mill calls running through Lewis County around Centralia and Chehalis, plus the Aberdeen and Hoquiam yards. If your mill is on the South Sound side or the Pacific side, we’ll get to you. Not sure if you’re in range? Give us a call.
