Job-site safety, customer-property safety, and code-compliant welding all factor into how we work. We assess the work area before striking an arc, set up screens for shielding gas and bystanders, and use proper PPE on every job.

For structural work, we follow WABO procedure and document the work for inspector sign-off. We work alongside customer safety programs on commercial sites and follow site-specific protocols.

Yes. We’re a mobile welder, and on-site repair is what we do. The truck, the generator, the welder, the gas, and the rods all come to you. No transporting equipment to a fixed shop.

We work across Thurston County and surrounding areas out of Tumwater. Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of the call (based on project complexity).

Most welding work fits mobile. Heavy equipment repair, trailer repair, structural welding, ag and farm equipment, restaurant and commercial equipment, dumpster and corral repair, and most everyday steel and aluminum jobs are mobile-friendly.

Jobs that don’t fit mobile well: high-precision shop work that needs a fixed jig, ASME code pressure piping, and very large fabrication runs. We tell you up front when a job belongs in a shop instead of on a job site.

No. Our truck carries its own generator, welder, gas, rods, and the consumables needed for the job. We don’t need to plug into your power, your water, or your shop space.

Shelter helps in heavy rain or wind. We can work outside in most weather, but a covered area or even just the shadow side of a building improves the work and the weld quality. If you have it, great. If you don’t, we work with what’s there.

Have the broken or damaged item accessible (not buried under other equipment, not blocked by parked vehicles), have a general idea of what you want fixed and any specific concerns, and have someone on-site who can answer questions and approve scope changes if needed.

If the work is on equipment that’s been running, let it cool. If you’ve already tried to fix it and the patch is still in place, leave it for us to inspect, we’d rather see what’s been done before deciding the next step.

Yes for most jobs. Photos and a description through our contact page or a quick phone call get you a no-cost estimate on standard work. For larger or more complex projects we may quote a small site visit charge that gets credited back when the work is awarded.

Online estimates from photos work well for repair work where the failure is visible. For fabrication and modifications, we sometimes need to see the equipment in person.

Repairs starting at $200. That covers the service call, the basic prep, and a straightforward repair on most jobs. Larger or more complex work runs higher and gets quoted up front before we head out.

We don’t publish a full price list because welding work varies too much job-to-job. The $200 minimum gives you a starting point so you can decide whether the job is worth a service call.

Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of the call (based on project complexity). For straightforward jobs like a cracked frame, a broken hinge, a single weld, we’re often in and out the same visit.

Larger structural jobs, multi-pass welds on heavy material, and projects that need fabrication of replacement pieces can run longer. We tell you up front what the work involves and how long it’ll take.

Photos of the broken or damaged item from a few angles, a brief description of what happened or what you need, the location where the work will happen, and any deadline or constraint.

Optional but helpful: equipment make and model, material type if you know it, dimensions, and any prior repair attempts. The more we know up front, the faster the quote and the more accurate the work goes.

No. Electron beam welding requires a vacuum chamber and isn’t a mobile-compatible process. We don’t offer EBW, with or without a partner shop.

If your job spec calls for EBW, you’ll need a specialty shop with the equipment. For most jobs that ask about EBW, TIG welding is the alternative and we cover that. Tell us what you’re trying to accomplish and we can usually point you in the right direction.
