When a bucket cracks mid-shift, nobody wants to hear that the closest welding shop has a three-week backlog. You need it fixed today, on the job site, before the next load shows up.
Heavy equipment downtime gets expensive fast. A sidelined excavator can cost a contractor hundreds an hour in lost production. Crews stand around. Deadlines slide. The customer starts asking when you’re going to be done. And hauling a 30,000-pound machine to a welding shop is its own project: lowboy, hauler scheduling, trailer permits, another day off the schedule before any actual welding happens.
We bring the shop to you instead.
## What We Fix
We weld the high-stress, structural problems that put heavy equipment out of service. The calls we get most often:
– Cracked excavator buckets and broken bucket teeth
– Loader arm welds and hydraulic mount damage
– Stress cracks in equipment frames and booms
– Snapped quick-attach plates and coupler hardware
– Failed dozer blade welds and ripper shank repairs
– Compactor frame and roller damage
– Dump truck bed cracks and tailgate hinge failures
– Log truck bunk and bolster repairs
Most calls come in one of two ways. Either something failed during a shift and the job has to keep moving, or a pre-season inspection caught a stress crack that’s about to turn into a real problem. We handle both. If your machine has cracked, fatigued, or sheared something off, we can probably weld it. If we can’t, we’ll tell you straight before we burn an hour of your time.
## Why We Come To You
Mobile is the whole point. We pull up to the job site, the yard, or wherever the equipment is parked, and we weld it there. No transport bill, no shop queue, no second day lost coordinating the haul back, no surprise lowboy invoice on the next month’s books.
Our truck is a full mobile rig with the right machine for the metal, whether that’s stick for fast structural fixes on dirty steel or MIG and TIG for cleaner work. Lance is WABO certified, which matters when the repair has to carry structural load. We don’t shortcut a weld so we can leave faster.
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours, based on project complexity. Repairs start at $200.
## Built For This Work
We’ve been welding for Washington since 2009. Our crew brings 57 years of combined team experience to every job, with serious time on the kind of equipment that doesn’t fit in a shop bay: excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks, compactors, and log trucks. We’re licensed, insured, and bonded in Washington.
The five stars on our Google profile come from contractors, mill operators, equipment owners, and farm operations who needed a real fix, not a patch. Most of them have us back the next time something cracks.
## Where We Work
We serve Thurston County and surrounding areas, with most calls in Tumwater, Olympia, Lacey, and across the South Sound. Logging crews working Lewis County timber, mill yards from Centralia to Aberdeen, ag equipment owners on rural Thurston routes, contractors framing out new commercial sites in Olympia and Tumwater: if your machine is in the radius, we’ll get to you. Not sure if you’re in range? Give us a call. We probably go there.
