Are mobile welds as strong as shop welds?

Yes when run by a qualified welder with proper prep. The weld doesn’t know whether it’s in a shop or on a job site, the strength comes from the welder, the rod or wire, the prep, and the procedure.

Mobile work has different challenges than shop work: weather, access, and the conditions of the metal we find when we get there. The right approach handles all three. We’re WABO certified for structural welding, mobile or otherwise.
